Jail Administrator School

This Jail Administrator School is for those who have not attended any Jail Administrator Schools in the past.  Jail Administrator Assistant, Captain, Lieutenant or Sergeant will be able to attend.  Please send ONLY ONE from your agency.  Limited space available, register ASAP.

The Arkansas Sheriffs’ Association as well as several supporters will be taking care of the accommodations.  It is imperative that we know of everyone’s attendance in plenty of time to plan for meals and rooms.

Remember, Deadline is Friday, October 2nd.

Quad consists of two days worth of meetings and training for our Sheriffs.  Due to the COVID restrictions, Sheriff’s are allowed to bring ONE guest.

Lodging Information
All rooms will be booked through the ASA and will be assigned on a first come first serve basis due to limited space.  Rooms will be paid for upon arrival to the Resort.
 Note: * Lodge rooms are a private hotel style room,
*Cabins will be shared, each having a private bedroom
*Rooms are $100 per night (you will be required to pay at check-in)

Guest Speaker: Lt. Col. Dave Grossman

Bio: Dave Grossman Lt. Colonel, U.S. Army (ret.) Lt. Col. Dave Grossman is an internationally recognized scholar, author, soldier, and speaker who is one of the world’s foremost experts in the field of human aggression and the roots of violence and violent crime.  Col. Grossman was a West Point psychology professor, Professor of Military Science, and an Army Ranger.  Col. Grossman has made revolutionary new contributions to our understanding of the psychological costs of policing, the root causes of current affairs and of violent crime that is raging around the world, and the process of healing the victims of violence. He is the author of On Killing, which was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. His most recent book is Warrior Mindset, which applies psychology and performance psychology to law enforcement.
