Winter Conference 2025 was a huge success. It was our biggest event yet, with a total of 154 registered vendors and more than 500 attendees. The energy, connections, and growth this year was truly incredible! Our Conference always kicks off with an executive board meeting, where board members come together to discuss key topics such as upcoming legislation, challenges facing law enforcement, and strategies for the future. This meeting sets the tone for productive discussion and collaboration through the event.
Monday started bright and early with the Vendor hall opening up at 8am. The vendor hall was bustling with energy, showcasing cutting-edge products, innovative technology, and valuable resources for all attendees. Vendor day provides Sheriffs, Jail Administrators, and Staff members the opportunity to explore the latest industry advancements, connect with new providers and strengthen relationships with existing partners. Its’s always on of the biggest highlights of the conferenced, offering firsthand insist into tools and solutions that can enhance operations and public safety. Our Keynote speaker was Arkansas Governor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Governor Sanders spoke of the importance of government support for law enforcement and the need to invest in public safety. She outlined her vision for a safer, stronger, Arkansas and emphasized the shared responsibility between state leaders and law enforcement to keep citizens safe. After lunch concluded attendees retuned to our vendor hall, we wrapped up the day with a vendor reception as the prefect close to a day filled with innovation, collaboration and valuable connections.
Tuesday’s prayer Breakfast started the day with uplifting and inspiring message from Pastor Paul Braschler and the Crossroad Community Church praise team. Our breakout sessions started with Join Training with the importance of Wellness Support, presentenced by ASP Sgt. Chuck Lewis. Our Tuesday Lunch Keynote was Senator Ben Gilmore, he spoke on the ongoing efforts to improve the prison reform system. Gilmore states “a safe community is the foundation of thriving society” and emphasized the need to tackle poverty, low education levels, and substance abuse as critical steps in reducing violent crime and recidivism. Training continued after lunch with the ASP, AAC, and APBBLB. We ended our conference on Wednesday with Speaker Travis George, lead operations manager from Creative Planning. He shard valuable insights on retirement planning, financial wellness and strategies for building a secure future.
Overall, the conference was a resounding success. We’d like to extend our deepest gratitude to the vendors, sheriffs, jail administrators, and everyone who attended and contributed to making yet again another great conference.
