The legendary Carroll County lawman Chuck Medford passed away Monday, August 30, 2021.  He was a longtime state trooper, then county Sheriff.  In his retirement, he served in a variety of law-enforcement roles.  Just weeks ago, he was feted at a reception in the district courtroom as he retied as bailiff.  Chuck will be missed by many, please keep the Medford family in your prayers.  Update on funeral arrangements will be posted soon
